3 Things That Help Me Grow On TPT Each Month
Today I'm excited to share my top three monthly tasks that help me maximize my sales on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). Whether you're a seasoned seller or just starting out, these strategies can help you boost your sales and keep your audience engaged.
Why Monthly Tasks Matter
Staying organized and proactive is key to running a successful TPT store. By consistently performing these tasks at the start of every month, I ensure that my store remains fresh and appealing to my customers.
Let's dive into the three things I do each month to achieve this.
1. Send a Note to Followers
Keeping in touch with your followers is crucial for maintaining engagement and driving sales. Every month, I send a note to my TPT followers to update them on new freebies and featured products. This helps keep my store top-of-mind and encourages repeat visits.
2. Email My Subscribers
Email marketing is a powerful tool for TPT sellers. I use Flodesk to send out tailored emails to my subscribers. These emails include updates on new products, freebies, and tips for making the most of their purchases. By keeping my subscribers informed and engaged, I can drive more traffic to my store and increase sales.
Flodesk is my go-to platform for creating beautiful, user-friendly email templates. Here's my process:
Create Email Templates: I draft and save reusable templates to streamline my email creation process.
Update Graphics and Text: Each month, I customize the templates with new images and relevant content.
Schedule and Send: I plan my email campaigns ahead to ensure timely delivery.
3. Update Monthly Freebies
Refreshing my free offerings every month keeps my audience excited and coming back for more. For June, I’ve planned a variety of fun and engaging resources:
Featured Products: Summer Enrichment Packet and Year-Long Classroom Escape Room Bundle. These are perfect for keeping learning fun and planning ahead for the next school year.
Freebies: Create Your Own Children's Book and Checkered Slide Set. These resources are designed to be both educational and enjoyable for students.
The Planning Process
Product Selection: I carefully choose which products to promote each month based on the season and current educational trends. For example, during the summer, I focus on year-long bundles and enrichment packets that teachers can use to plan for the upcoming school year.
Email Drafting: Using Flodesk, I draft my emails by updating last month’s template with new graphics and text. I include tips for teachers, such as how to enjoy their summer and prepare for the next school year.
Scheduling Notes on TPT: I compose a note to my followers, similar to my email, but tailored for the TPT platform. This note includes clickable images that link directly to my featured products and freebies.
Final Steps
After finalizing my emails and notes, I schedule them to be sent out on the first of the month. This ensures that my followers and subscribers receive the updates at the same time, maximizing their impact.
By staying consistent with these monthly tasks, I keep my TPT store active and my followers engaged. This not only boosts my sales but also helps me build a strong, loyal community of educators.
